Sunrise
A subtle glow of pink
In an endless black sky
A soft hint of light
As a new day draws nigh
Tendrils of gold
Slowly chase away dark
The beginning of dreaming
A newly born spark
A sun slowly rises
To banish the night
The shade and the shadows
Banished by light
A hope that is dawning
Of things that might come
The darkness is over
A new day begun.
Your love is my sunlight
That drives out the night
The pain and the heartache
Dismissed in you're light
