The sunlight is fading
And twilight descends
A faint glimmer of stars
As another day ends
A storm slowly builds
The dark clouds roll in
A soft fall of rain
Caresses the skin
The lightning flashes
And the thunder rolls
An exquisite danger
That calls to my soul
Caught in the open
An unforeseen thrill
The rush of emotions
A warmth, then a chill
In love with the morning
The sun and the light
But a part of me longs for
The storm and the night
